Interior Renovations and Indoor Air Quality

Davenport Ridge Elementary School was built in 1972 and sits on a 16.9 -acre site located in North Stamford. 

In 2023, Davenport was awarded, in the first round of funding, a grant of $421,566 in reimbursement through the State of Connecticut HVAC Indoor Air Quality Grants Program for Public Schools for a recent HVAC update.

The City of Stamford, with Stamford Public Schools, completed additional work over the summer of 2024 using federal ESSER III funding to replace existing mechanical ducts delivering fresh air to a number of spaces. These investments will enhance the indoor learning environments for both students and staff.
