Rippowam Middle School

Rippowam Middle School was constructed in 1959 and sits on a 29.87 acres campus. The property slopes moderately from the north and west perimeter along the building footprint towards the soccer and baseball fields with landscaping consists of trees, shrubs, and grasses.

Athletic resources at Rippowam include a six lane running track. The track circles a synthetic turf soccer field, and both the track and field are beloved and well-used resources for residents, nonprofit programs, sports training camps, and students. The surface had reached the end of its useful life and required replacement. The project commenced in June of 2023 and the existing deteriorated track was removed. A new clean surface was created for the new track.

The work was weather dependent but despite heavy rains and occasional inclement weather the engineering and construction team was able to complete the project by early September of 2023 with no impact to the students activities.
