Stamford High School Solar Panels

In 2023, aligned with the City’s efforts to reduce gas emissions, increase onsite renewables, lower total energy spending, and manage market risk, Stamford High School applied for and received a grant for solar panel installations on the school’s roofing. Currently, 658.2 KWDC of rooftop solar PV opportunity is available, with a 20-year savings opportunity between $212K-$1.5M.

This project is currently in the Programming phase and requires authorization in the 2024 Fiscal year.
