Schematic Design Cost Estimate and Value Management

Throughout each phase of the New Westhill High School Project (schematic design, design development, and construction documents), the professional team conducts cost estimates based on current market conditions.  A third party consultant retained by the architect S/L/A/M and the Construction Manager Dimeo + Bismark complete their own cost estimates, then reconcile the differences in order to come up with an accurate estimate.

The reconciled Schematic Design Estimate presented at the Project Planning Committee on July 30th at $460,717,567. The design team has begun to identify potential for additional savings in next phase of design those items are proposed here.
